Bebe Michels specializes in the recruitment of California-based partners.  Her practice focuses in three areas- transactional, litigation and regulatory.

 

Bebe brings a unique perspective to her practice. As CEO of Michels Court Reporters (https://www.michelscourtreporters.com/) she has spent the last three decades handling numerous high-profile cases. She has provided seamless service in various legal contexts, from depositions to hearings, arbitrations to trials.  

During the Covid pandemic, she had a revelation: her aptitude for matchmaking in social settings, combined with her deep understanding of the court reporting sector and interactions with myriad attorneys, uniquely positioned her for legal search and placement. Her ability to guide attorneys in meeting their career aspirations seemed a fitting extension of her existing skill sets.

 

Bebe found a robust foundation in Esquire Inc., a company known for its sterling reputation, established relationships with elite law firms, and successful track record. She is currently collaborating with Sandy Lechtick, President, on special projects for long-standing clients.

While continuing to manage high-priority court reporting tasks, Bebe is expanding her network of attorneys and business relationships. Her current focus is the recruitment and placement of litigation partners (complex business litigation, L&E; cyber-security; products/professional liability and transactional (general corporate, R.E., finance, health care and Trusts & Estate, tax.

 

In her leisure time, Bebe indulges her love for animals, especially her prize-winning Doberman Pinschers.  As an avid participant in dog shows, Bebe and her dogs have claimed numerous top honors, further testament to her drive and commitment, not only in her professional but also in her personal life.
