Meredith specializes in partner placement and has close to twelve years experience. Since 2000, she has successfully represented partners and associates to several leading law firms including: Skadden Arps; O'Melveny & Myers; Akin Gump; Fulbright Jaworski; White & Case; Greenberg Traurig; Mayer Brown; Morrison & Foerster; Perkins Coie; Proskauer; Jeffer Mangels; Loeb & Loeb; Gibson Dunn; Reed Smith; Baker & Hostetler; Arent Fox; Buchalter and Snell & Wilmer.
Meredith has been a consistent and highly effective recruiter- during boom and challenging economic times. The last few years have been her best ever. Outstanding recruitment skills, tenacity and collaboration with Esquire President Sandy Lechtick played an important role in several notable and recent placements including: former Foley patent litigation chair Amar Thakur to Quinn Emanuel and sr. intellectual property partner Scott Feldmann to Baker & Hostetler. Among several other deals, she facilitated the moves of Gordon & Rees life-science co-chairs William Pedranti and George Ng to Snell & Wilmer; Rick McNeil, formerly Environmental Chair at Irell & Manella to Snell & Wilmer; Arnold & Porter trademark specialist Diane Lambillotte to Arent Fox (see letter), and Allen Matkins corporate counsel Philip Schroeder to Buchalter as a shareholder.
Meredith has had a very unusual career path. After receiving her B.A. in Communications/Journalism, she spent several years in the entertainment sector handling literary projects. However, intrigued by the growing convergence of technology, entertainment and web-based enterprises- she entered the executive search arena and for three years specialized in placing software engineers and computer programmers. Ultimately, the influence of the lawyers in her family (father and brother) and desire to work with movers and shakers in the legal sector, pushed her into attorney placement In 2000. She placed her first attorney in 60 days and hasn’t looked back.
Meredith’s hobbies include collecting antiques, foreign travel, cooking and yoga.
