Steve
Adler,
a former practicing attorney, is a highly experienced legal recruiter/law firm consultant who represents only successful revenue-producing partners, groups and merger/acquisition candidates. Recent examples include Kent Goss and his Los Angeles IP litigation group which moved from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman to Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Michael Graham, a senior trial lawyer at Baker Botts in Houston, who moved to Jones Day. Mr. Adler's relationships with firm leaders and representation of top legal talent ensure fast, confidential access to law firms at their highest level. Mr. Adler consults with and conducts high-level searches for a wide variety of law firms in California, Texas, New York and other locations. Many of these searches are on an exclusive basis. As examples, Ed Woodsome is now the national litigation chair of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Neal Marder is the Los Angeles litigation chair of Winston & Strawn. Mr. Adler also works diligently with firms of all sizes across the country on merger/acquisition opportunities and is aware of many firms that are actively or passively interested in pursuing this path. For example, Mr. Adler was instrumental in brokering the deals which created Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith's Las Vegas, Phoenix and Tucson offices.Mr. Adler and his family live in suburban Los Angeles. When not working or spending time with his family, Mr. Adler enjoys studying history, kayaking and traveling. In his college days, Mr. Adler attended the University of Hawaii on a football scholarship where he played cornerback and returned punts and kickoffs for the Rainbow Warriors.
