Re: Job career counseling to fifteen associates at Baker & McKenzie after firm announced the closing of the L.A. office
February

When Baker & McKenzie decided to downsize it's L.A. office,
most of our associates were put in a position of having to look for jobs elsewhere. Sandford A.
Lechtick, president
of Esquire Legal Search Consultants, was called in by management to make a presentation on job hunting tips and
how we could best advance our careers.
I found Sandy's two hour presentation extremely helpful in better understanding the legal market, how to select (and control) recruiters as well as general job hunting information. In particular, I found his comments on relationship building and business development quire relevant, especially in the context of making partner.
Based on how impressed I was by Sandy's knowledge of the legal job market, and what various firms were doing, I subsequently consulted him on my career options. I valued Sandy's ability to gauge my strengths and weaknesses and match me with appropriate options. This letter is to strongly recommend the expertise and market knowledge of Esquire and in particular Sandy Lechtick.
Sincerely,
