Jim Beauchemin
Jim Beauchemin has over 16 years experience in the recruiting industry. Prior to joining Esquire, Jim was the manager and training consultant for IBC Recruiting, one of the top insurance search firms on the West Coast. Clients included: AIG, Chubb, Zurick American, Kemper and Safeco. During this period, Jim supervised or personally handled more than 600 placements. After 14 years with IBC, he founded and owned his own search firm. While profitable, he missed the synergies of a larger organization. Based on several in-house attorney placements and a growing interest in legal search, Jim joined Esquire in 2003.

Mr. Beauchemin specializes in placing partners in general corporate/securities, intellectual property, labor and business litigation. His transition into attorney placement has been remarkably smooth. In fact, in the last six months, Jim has completed several of Esquire’s high priority searches. Working closely with Esquire president Sandy Lechtick, Jim played an important role in our successful representation of: John Stoner (corporate securities and technology partner from Manatt, Phelps); Steve Anapoell (corporate securities and tax partner from Pillsbury Winthrop); Greg Hurley (litigation partner who was formerly litigation chair at Kutak Rock) all to Greenberg Traurig in Orange County. Mr. Beauchemin also played a key role in our representation of John Gallogly (Director of Administration) to Greenberg Traurig (Santa Monica); Barbara McCully (labor partner); James Williams (intellectual property/business partner) and Bruce Baldwin (ERISA partner) to Lewis Brisbois in Los Angeles. As well as being a gourmet cook, Jim enjoys fishing, skiing, and is an avid Kings Hockey fan.
