Bill Henry, Sr. Account Executive
Bill Henry joined Esquire Inc. in 1997 and has close to fifteen years experience in the attorney placement arena. He has placed partners and associates at major firms throughout the United States. A partial list includes: Morrison Foerster; Troutman Sanders; Ropes & Gray; Paul Hastings; Manatt Phelps; Baker & Hostetler; Nixon Peabody and Lewis Brisbois. He has successfully handled the moves of attorneys resulting in placements in California, Louisiana, New York, Tennessee, Florida, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Before Bill joined Esquire, he handled the placement of technology professionals in the aerospace and defense arena. Prior to his search career, Bill owned a marketing company that promoted consumer products internationally. He received his B.A. in Economics from Queens College of the University of the City of New York and then went on to the University of Arizona for graduate work in mathematics.

Bill works with major law firms as well as small boutiques. Many are those who tap Bill on specific assignments for partners and hard- to- fill associate assignments- such as intellectual property and patent litigation, corporate securities, labor employment and real estate.

In addition, Bill has developed relationships with decision-makers and candidates in many practice areas that most legal recruiters have not , e.g. tax, trusts & estates, environmental and bankruptcy. Many of his deals have been at firms "off the beaten path" of other recruiters. The depth and breadth- and diversity of his client base (large and small firms) has ultimately provided more options for the lawyers he represents. In addition, Bill has had notable success in the in-house sector and has developed relationships with a number of top companies . Much of his business is repeat. At Southern California Edison for instance, Bill has over the years handled a number of key searches in various practice areas resulting in eight placements. He has had similar success at Ernst & Young and many smaller companies.

Bill spends his free time oil painting, working out every day (he swears he doesn't miss a day) and breeds some of the friendliest Koi (they like being touched) in town - video available upon request.
